Rhodée is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who use its services and purchase its products. 

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you, as a visitor to the Rhodée website or as a purchaser of Rhodée’s products, about the types of information we may collect about you when you use our services, how we may use that information, to whom we disclose it, and what choices you have regarding our use of the data.

In the event of international transfer of personal data, we will protect your data in accordance with the level of protection required by the European regulations.


This Privacy Policy addresses the personal data we collect, use and disclose (for processing), which generally includes your name, address, telephone number, email address, day and month of birth, IP address, billing and account information, and any other information that identifies you or can be used to identify you.

This includes information you provide to us, for example, when you place an order, contact our customer service department or participate in contests. It is also possible that we collect certain personal data from external sources or via third parties.

All data we collect may be combined with each other to better tailor our offers and services to your personal needs.

As required by law, we do not process any sensitive data, such as data relating to your racial or ethnic origin, your political opinions or your sexual preferences.

  1. WHO ARE WE ?

It is the Belgian company Rhodée SRL, whose registered office is located at Avenue des Châtaigniers 15, 1150 Brussels, which is responsible for collecting and processing of your personal data.

This company is jointly responsible for the processing and protection of your personal data.


We are competent to process your data for various purposes. 

Among other purposes, we will use your data (obtained online) to fulfill the contract you entered into with us when you registered or made a purchase, to manage your registration as a user and to manage the purchase of your products, to answer your questions, as well as to send personalized communications and newsletters.


Only persons authorized for this purpose are allowed to access personal data. These persons may only continue to process this data if this is necessary to achieve the previously agreed objectives.

We do not sell or pass on your personal data to third parties unless 

– this is necessary for the provision of our services;

– we have to comply with a legal obligation;

– in case of a legitimate interest from Rhodée or the third party concerned;

– you give us permission to do so.

For example, we share your data with our logistics team to help us deliver your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. We also share our data with our development team to help us troubleshoot computer problems.

We may use anonymous, aggregated data for external reporting and marketing purposes. This data will not be linked to any specific individual.

We are committed to making every effort to ensure the security of your personal data, including preventing it from being altered, damaged or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.


Regarding the processing of your personal data, the RGPD gives you certain rights.

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data. In some cases, you also have other rights, for example, the right to refuse to the processing of your data or the right to portability.

5.1 Right of access and consultation (Article 15 of the GDPR):

You have the right to obtain at any time information about your personal data and how we use such data.

You have the right to obtain confirmation that your personal data is being processed; if this is the case, you have the information right about this personal data and the information detailed in Article 15 of the GDPR.

5.2 Right of correction or right of rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR):

You have the right to ask us to rectify and/or complete your personal data if it is incorrect or incomplete. 

5.3. Right of rectification and right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) (Article 17 of the GDPR):

You have the right to obtain, as soon as possible, the erasure of personal data concerning you where one of the grounds listed in detail in Article 17 of the GDPR applies, i.e.:

– If your personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or processed:

– If you revoke your consent to processing and there is no other legal basis justifying the processing;

– if you have lodged a legitimate objection to the processing of your personal data;

– if your personal data has been processed unlawfully;

– if a legal obligation indicates that your personal data must be deleted.

In some cases, it is not possible to comply with the request to delete your personal data. For example, we have a legal obligation to keep invoices for seven years.

5.4 Right to restrict processing (Article 18 of the GDPR)

You have the right to request us to limit the processing of your personal data in the following cases, among others: 

– If you contest the accuracy of your personal data, for the period of time that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data;

– if the processing of your personal data is unlawful;

– if your personal data is required for legal proceedings.

5.5. Right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR):

In certain cases listed in detail in Article 20 of the GDPR, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. In addition, you also have the right to transfer this data to another controller or to have it transferred to us if this is technically possible.

5.6 Right to object to processing (Article 21 of the GDPR)

You have the right to object to the processing of personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. In this case, we shall no longer process the personal data, unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests and rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

5.7 Right to withdraw your consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legitimacy of the processing on the basis of the consent prior to the withdrawal.

5.8 Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:

Pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, if you consider that the processing of your personal data constitutes a breach of the data protection provisions. The right to lodge a complaint can be exercised with a supervisory authority in the Member State where you are normally resident, where you work or where the breach is alleged to have taken place. The supervisory authority in Belgium is the Data Protection Authority (https://www.privacycommission.be/citoyen).
